That old pine mirror hangs on the wall
That same old mirror my Grandpa saw
Though it may be cracked, showing it's age
It still give memories of yesterday

This mirror knows when I was a kid
Storing the truth of what I did
It shows some people past history
But what it knows is a mystery

But now I see, an image reflecting back to me
Of a face whose seen years of news
And right now that face has got the blues

This mirror remembers when Grandpa died
It saw the tears leaving these eyes
Reflecting colors left on the trees
Remembering times that used to be

When I look into it in certains ways
I see people of yesterday
I cherish it always until I die
