Nobleman, and Lord of Tilly of Thury in Normandie. Rene LeGardeur and
family, was raised to the status of Nobility by royal public
announcement of King Louis XXI in May of 1510. The coat of arms
consisted of; silver patriarchal cross, borne in the claws of a silverlion
hilighted in gold. He was of Thury-Harcourt, Diocese of Caen, Normandy(now a
part of Calvados), France. He married at Pierdone or Olivier,Thury-Harcourt,
in France.
