of the Empowerment Through Hearing public service
message campaign is to help eliminate the stigma attached
to hearing loss, so that people with problem-hearing will
feel comfortable about seeking help and demanding the kind
of technology that solves hearing problems. It’s time to bring
hearing loss out of the closet.

will serve to position hearing loss, not as a disability but
as a human condition – like varying degrees of eyesight. To
